I led the development and execution of critical Shelter and WASH programming, secured vital resources, and managed significant operational risks in a volatile environment to serve displaced and vulnerable communities.

Directed the strategic post-Typhoon Yolanda WASH recovery as Head of Department. I led a capital-level team and oversaw a large-scale portfolio of projects that restored critical infrastructure and improved public health for hundreds of thousands of individuals.

• Supervised the full project management cycle for all post-typhoon WASH recovery programs, from strategic planning to final evaluation.
• Led and managed a team of Program Managers and Heads of Project to ensure high-quality program delivery and reporting.
• Oversaw programs that reached over 194,000 people with hygiene promotion and 80,000 with rehabilitated water and sanitation infrastructure.

Deployed to Tacloban in the immediate aftermath of super-typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). I was responsible for designing and managing the first-phase emergency WASH response for Leyte Island, establishing life-saving services for displaced populations in one of the most devastated areas.

• Launched and managed the initial WASH emergency response within the first week of the disaster, focusing on IDP camps and heavily damaged coastal areas.
• Designed and implemented rapid-impact projects that successfully provided essential water and sanitation services to approximately 84,000 people.
• Coordinated activities with other humanitarian actors and local authorities to ensure a coherent and effective response in a chaotic post-disaster environment.

Managed the final implementation and successful handover of the sanitation component for a large-scale, post-earthquake recovery program. My work focused on ensuring the long-term sustainability of sanitation services by scaling up coverage and fostering community ownership.

• Directed the final phase of a post-earthquake sanitation program, bringing services to a total of 2,500 households.
• Implemented a combined community mobilization and subsidy approach to ensure project sustainability and local acceptance.
• Oversaw the successful completion, final reporting, and handover of the program to community and local partners.

As Program Manager, I was responsible for post-earthquake recovery WASH actions that provided essential facilities to 1,600 households. Additionally, I led emergency response efforts during the hurricane season, ensuring timely and effective aid to populations affected by Hurricanes Sandy and Isaac.

Deployed to Djibouti during the Horn of Africa crisis to conduct a exploratory mission. The objective was to assess humanitarian needs and identify potential WASH projects for future intervention, providing the strategic groundwork for subsequent aid programs.

My role was central to the cholera response and hurricane preparedness, involving multiple rapid assessments and the establishment of life-saving services.

Developed and delivered comprehensive training programs for aspiring Emergency Medical Technicians. My role involved creating structured curricula, providing hands-on instruction, and conducting rigorous assessments to ensure graduates were fully competent for real-world emergency deployment.
